PAarcher
This morning I left real early it was a calm clear night. I was sitting in the tree an hour before daylight. Once the sun just started to peak up I grunted a few times, and hit the horns. 2 minutes later this joker came walking in. Not bad for Central PA public ground. PAarcher
Nice buck, what kind of equipment you using? Well . . . Bow PSE Durango (she's getting old) Time for a new one but still gets the job done. Beamans with Rage 2blade M.A.D. growler grunt call He had been tearing up a mock scrape I made with Tinks Power Scrape. I made a few small ones and one of them is now 5ft around. Once that Rage went through the pump station he only made it 50yds!!!

Kyle Yeah we had a snow fall here a few weeks ago with that big front. A few bucks were spotted chasing does already with the cold weather. But after that nothing a few buddies saw some bucks fighting last week. So I rattled and grunted and he came in looking for a fight. He has a broke off tine on the one side so I'd like to see the buck that he was fighting with I'm sure it was as big or bigger. But his neck was all swollen, and he smelled like he's been making a scrape or two haha

cray8705
probably a bit of a weird question but what year and package is that s-10 blazzer/jimmy i've been looking for one that has the fold down tailgate instead of the kind where the whole hatch open up into the air. Big ones aren't to easy to kill on public ground but it can be done. I Just moved to PA in August from Michigan and have been scouting a few times a week since August it all paid off! PAarcher
Nice buck! What call did you use? I really like the Doe Bleat Can. I have called in some little bucks with it so far. I just bought a M.A.D. Growler this week, but the tone is so deep I took the black outside rubber tube off so it sounds like a smaller buck. I've also got a old set of antlers off a year and a half old 8pt. I shot years ago. I've never had much luck calling only small year and a halfs, but co workers said that this last week they saw a few big bucks fighting on the way to work so I got the rattling antlers out and hit em this a.m. and it paid off! Congrats again! Yeah the Rage 2 blades did a number on him I had a tree blocking most of his vitals, He was in my only opening on that side of my stand and I had a clear shot toward the back of his shoulder blade and the Rage blew through both shoulders and I'm only shooting 63lbs with an older bow that doesn't have the fastest IBO speed.
