Stinger-Hunter
Congratulations. I love PA - darn fine state. How's that antler restriction working - I've heard good and bad.
PAarcher
Congratulations. I love PA - darn fine state. How's that antler restriction working - I've heard good and bad. This is actually my first season hunting here, I moved here in August. From what I've herd most people like the antler restrection and In the long run should produce some older deer. But the Game Commission has been issuing so many doe tags and everyone I've talked to isn't to happy about that.

PAarcher
Congrats...nice public land buck...esp. in PA. Ask most folks around here and they'll tell you there aren't any deer left on public land...lol Thanks Gary Alt! Yeah a lot of people were shocked to see that he came off public land. What I've found here in Central PA is there is so much land I just go way back, away from what I've seen so far little bowhunting pressure (compared to MI where I just moved from) I've found lots of very good looking spots deer movement was hit or miss been a lot of rainy windy days this year that didn't help. It's nice though I get the chance to hunt every morning no evenings though due to work. 2 months of scouting paid off and a good plan came together!
