Missilelock
dang- I did just what I told myself I wasnt going to do. I shot a mediocre sized 8 point tonight & had to use my 1 & only tag on him. As a matter of fact, I either passed up this buck or his look alike twice allready this season. Now the rut is just kicking in & I cant hunt:hammer1: I would post a pic, but I am dumber than a fence post when it comes to computers
bowhuntMN
sorry to hear about your situation! Hopefully you can get the computer figured out so we can see some pics
Hunt or be Hunted
dude that sucks. why did you shoot him? lol
bghunter777
Be proud of any deer taken legally i know the feeling of not having a tag but there are plenty of ways to still be involved! Go with a friend or possibly hunt for a doe if you still have a doe tag. If this is an option for you maybe jump across a state line and hunt a new area! arrow32
Sorry to hear that but atleast you had a good season none the less atleast I would think. Congrats on the buck. Hope we get some pics.
ruttinbuc
The deal is done. Not much you can do. Consider yourself fortunate to kill a deer with your bow. There will be thousands this year that won't even get the chance to pull the string. You made the decision to shoot so now you have to live with it. Tough go in PA, but the choice to fill the tag was yours.
buckee
Hey, Way to go and good shootin.
Slash
At least you didn't tag out on the very first day of bow season. I've had the itch SO bad since then that I can't stop myself from shooting big does! Congrats on the kill though, maybe somebody can help you get pics up sometime soon. fly
Glad to hear you're tagging it! No doubt there are some that would be in your situation and try to figure a way out so they could keep hunting for a big buck. So hats off and take pride in the fact that you're doing the right thing. Any deer legally harvested is an accomplishment to be proud of. Try to post some pics, I'd love to see them. tp793
That's alright, at least you got to pull the string and connected on a buck. Lot's of people are going to come up empty handed all together this year. Congrats on your buck, be proud of him.
The_Kat
Its better to have tagged, then to have never tagged at all.
dogdoc
Its better to have tagged, then to have never tagged at all. very true and you can put all the ketchup you can on that tag and it still tastes pretty bad!!!!!! congrats on the deer todd
Tony
ive eaten a lot of buck tags here in iowa waiting for the Bigun to come by. but im still happy about it. thats why i get a county doe tag. so i can do some shooting and then hunt for "The Buck". i have done what you did a couple of times in the past. this is why i never draw on a buck of any kind to practice drawing. i seem to get a itchy trigger finger when im at full draw. you could always go out and sit with a camera and scout for next year.
