AceArcher
My brother Casey called me on my way home from work and said he shot a nice buck. Not sure how big it is but hopefully I will have some pics later tonight. He said he thought he heard him crash and saw blood on the ground but didn't have a flashlight. I am going to stop my wally-world and pic up propone and batteries. I help my wife get my boy bathed and to bed and then I am driving out to the farm to help him with the recovery. Sounds like it might be the 130 inch buck that I had field cam pics off. We shall see. Check back in a 10 or 11 for an update. Cross your fingers. Talk later. AceArcher
Well we found him no problem. He had only went about 50-60 yards. Casey lunged him and took out one ventricle with the rage two blade, beman arrow and bowtech rig. He darn near walked over him on the way out the the woods as he was laying about 3 feet off the trail but with no light he couldn't see him or the blood. He is a real nice wide eight with an 18 1/2 inch inside spread. Probalby goes mid-130s but we will have to put the tape to him...I wouldn't be surprised if he grosses in the low 140s. I have plenty of pictures but it is my gramps camera and I don't have the right camera to hook it up the the computer. I thought it was the same at the PS3 cables but this one has something different. I will post pic when I get home tommorow. I am so happy for my bro...this is his first P&Y buck!!! Way to Casey!!! AceArcher
Here are the pics. Also...here are a few pics of the deer from August. I checked his teeth I they seem like a 2.5 yr/old to me. He sure would have been a monster in 2 years but he is a real trophy for my brother today anyway.
