Buckeye54
I have a mossberg 535 that I want to get a turkey choke tube for. I have been looking online at various places, but none list tubes for the 535, just 500, 835, 935. Does anyone know which tube would be the proper size for the 535? csimon
http://www.mossberg.com/products/access.asp?type=chokes§ion=access this is the first site i found i hope it will help out
jm23494
If my memory serves me correctly the 535 has the same barrel and chokes as the 500. The only major difference between the two is that the 535 is able to chamber 3-1/2" shells while the 500 chambers 3". Look for some chokes for the 500 and they should fit just fine into your gun. Buckeye54
Thanks! That's what I wanted to know. I've been looking at Jellyheads and such and they never listed the 535. Now to decide which one I want.
bluelund79
Accuchoke, same as the 500. Jellyheads are nice, Rhinos are great, heck even Mossberg makes a nice turkey choke for their guns! Had some great patterns from my old 500 with one of Mossbergs extended turkey chokes. Happy patterning, Eric
jm23494
Just remember that regardless of what choke tube you get you will need to do some testing with different loads. I have a Jellyhead for my Benelli and found that it likes Winchester #6's. I can get a basketball size pattern at 40 yards.
Buckeye54
I checked out the Mossberg choke tubes and am considering one of those also. I'll have to check out the Rhino. I'll definitely be patterning diferent loads once I get the choke tube.
