I also think more people should consider mounting does, they really are beautiful animals and make wonderful mounts. I have seven doe mounts in my game room and one more in the freezer waiting to get done. Most of them are in unique positions and usually attract a fair amount of attention from people that come down to my game room as they are not used to seeing does. Any way keep up the good work, that is a really nice mount. By the way, do you mount the does with the no sew method where you take off the entire cape without making any cut down the back at all. I now do all of mine that way so the whole cape is like a tube sock with the only opening being the the eye holes and the mouth which is already there. Nothing to sew, at all, I love it! This particular doe, I did not, BUT like my black bears, all future doe mounts will be skinned with the "no sew method". I could not taxi the skin to my likings on this custom form I made, so I had to slice down the back of the neck to get her just right. The incision was small and not the entire cape.
