stevebeilgard
welcome to the forums. i don't know whitetails much, but they are similar to elk. they do not like the wind, and will try to stay out of it. but, they still need to eat and the wind will sometimes for days. so, maybe put your stand where the deer can stay out of the wind pretty much. i don't much like the idea of walking after them as you'll most likely scare them all off of your hunting ground. Ethan Givan
They dont move around here much when the wind gets up. Occasionaly I see some when its windy, but they are usually in low areas trying to stay out of the wind. I love it though when the wind has been blowing all day, and then it dies about a half hour before dark. I have seen alot of deer on nights like that.
