golf461
I have just started to try to use a release on by bow rather than my old way of finger tips, but i am getting a premature release what can i do to fix this problem
buckee
Your release may be set on hair-trigger. Try giving the little set screw in front of the trigger a half of a turn clockwise, and see if that helps any.
PaBowhunter00
1) If using a D-loop, make sure your release isn't clamped onto the d-loop string 2) When drawing your bow place your trigger finger behind the trigger to prevent accidentally hitting the trigger 3) Your release may be set on hair-trigger. Try giving the little set screw in front of the trigger a half of a turn clockwise, and see if that helps any.
Straight Shooter
What release are you using? It sounds like what buckee said about the trigger being set to light. That's an easy fix by adjusting the trigger screw.
