I'm hoping we hit it pretty good this week and have gotten a report of a monster buck chasing Doe's 2 days ago. What kind of activity have you guys been seeing and predictions of when the rut will be in full swing? It's also looking like it's going to a little wet next week but I can live with that. Know one guy who seen a 160 class buck chasing in his woods. (LOL Too bad he done tagged out also.) I really think you are hitting it just about right but I think this week is going to be good also so trying to get the wife up in morning is the main challenge. WHISKEYSWAMP Posted November 2, 2009 Report Share Posted November 2, 2009 Just shot a nice 11 point at 5pm last night about an hour from where I live... the mature bucks have been moving pretty good over there but haven't seen much activity other tha small bucks behind the house. Tominator Posted November 3, 2009 Report Share Posted November 3, 2009 Witnessed my first chase scene last night. 2 year old 8pt dogged a doe 50 yards from me. Seeing a fair amount of road kill and almost hit a giant bodied deer Sunday night, so they are starting to move pretty good. I'd say this week and next should be the prime time. She crashed thru some heavy brush near my stand. She went on down the hill and he couldn't she where she went, I used my bleat can and he came right in.
