c_lou
It's been a season of seeing deer either after legal hours or when I do see them with any semblance of light, they are too far away. I am also sick and tired of the dang wind. It seems the last couple of years have been terrible. Constantly blowing up to 20mph or more. I am just so frustrated with deer hunting right now. :bang: Part of it is my fault, I just wasn't ready this year. I didn't have stands cleared out, I didn't have stands put up before the season. Maybe the Walleyes are biting.:surrender:
ruttinbuc
I feel that way too, some days. Seems I can't get it right. I am also to blame for not being prepared. Makes a big difference to have things in place ready to hunt. I was gone for three weeks close to the season and lost track of what was going on in the woods. Didn't get any stands hung but one. Got to keep swinging though.

MCH
Right there with ya. This is the first time in quite a while where I didn't have a deer on the ground before Nov. 1st.
Tony
got to keep in the game though. sometimes stuff like this happens for a reason. check out the morning i had this morning. im going to write down everyhting i need to do before the season. then next year im going to have everything in place and extra stand sites set up. i got caught a little unprepared as well this year. punkinslinger
I feel the same ...I did have some spots ready to go and the ground got posted 1 week before the season. Sort of takes the wind out of your sails.

(You passion and dedication are commendable) Persistance will have a pay off! I've been out 13 times since October 1st. Seven of those hunts resulted in seeing zero deer on stand. I've only seen one antlered buck last week. A decent six pointer. Edited November 3, 2009 by fly
Ethan Givan
I hear ya. This season has been the worst season Ive ever had. I have been hunting about 15 times this year, and Ive seen 4 deer, and no bucks. I shot a doe in september, made a bad shot and lost the deer. Im not finding much deer sign on the property I hunt. I aint giving up though...not yet
