OJR
Can't help on that particular model but I have had and used for several years the Alaskan Guide Model with the Deluxe Vestibule. We used it elk hunting one year when it got down to -10 and we had about 12" of snow on the ground. No problem. We did have a problem one other year when we had about 2 days of real heavy snow and weren't in camp. When we got there, the whole tent was caved in. We used duct tape around the fiberglass frame and it went back up! I really can't complain on the tent because we have really used it in some tough conditions. The model you are looking at might hold up better if heavy snow and it would have more room.
James7xChamp3
Re: Cabelas Deluxe Alkanak II tent I have the Alaskan Guide Model with the Deluxe Vestibule also. It's an awesome tent. Rugged and well built. Can't comment on the one you're asking about, but I'll bet it's a great tent also!
