rbduck
I`ve been hearing rumours that as of Nov 4th this year, Air Canada will begin to charge $50.00 for any ammo being carried in their bags. Anyone heard or is this just another rumour? Ron:)
Doe-ee
Check out this Air Canada site. It looks like the $50 charge is for each segment of the flight but just on firearms. Some "over the top" rules on how to package your firearm for the flight too. If you're intending to fly soon, maybe check out some other airline. We fly WestJet whenever possible. http://www.aircanada.jp/en/checked-huntequip.htm?cLoc=tn
davetucker
one of my buddies just flew to colorado on an elk hunt last month and it was cheaper for him(with insurance and all)to send it to a ffl out there via ups than to take it on the plane and risk "losing his luggage"!!
