I do my own oil changes, I always use the 100% fully synthetic oil. I want to do everything possible to preserve the life of my 2006 Ranger pick up. redkneck Posted November 3, 2009 Report Share Posted November 3, 2009 If you just wanna flush it, I'd get something cheaper, have even known guys to put a little diesel in the oil and let it idle of about ten minutes then flush. Seafoam is one of the best products around in my opinion, but I have to admit, I've never put it in my oil, though it's made to do just that.
