Turkeygirl
Was sleeping in this morning since it was raining. Well at 6:30am, when Andy leaves for work, he's banging on our doors, saying our horses are loose, they are down the road. So I'm up getting dressed, my sister is. Mom is sleeping soundly, lol. We run out to the barn, grab halters, leads, and a bucket of grain. Jump in Andy's car, he was going to drop us off since we'd have to lead them back up. We get down to where he saw them, about 1/4 mile down the road....and they are the neighbor's horse, not ours!:hammer1::hammer1::clown: They were standing right by a fence with horses on the other side. So we drive back up and our horses all along are in our pasture...duh:hammer1: He leaves for work and my sister and I have been up since then. Mom got up and thought it was hilarious and I said good thing we didn't wake you up,lol!

RTPROFamily
Ruth, Only folks who own livestock can really understand this! We have 130 cows, calves and several bulls, one horse who was born in 1981 and 35+ goats. So if we hear someone honk, we all scramble to get on our clothes, boots and run to the 4 wheeler! It usually means something is in the road! Isn't it such a relief though when they don't belong to you?? Glad you didn't have to roundup anything today! Take care, Darla
