An Interesting Story

Back in July I got some pictures of a buck in velvet that only had one side of his antlers. I speculated that he either had something wrong genetically or he had had some kind of accident, or maybe something else. I wondered if since he was in velvet if he would start growing back the missing side. Anyway I finally got another picture of him recently and I saw him while I was hunting last night, and if it is him (which i'm pretty sure it is) he did start growing the missing side back, so i'm guessing he just had some kind of accident. Anyway let me know if you think it is the same deer in the pictures, I know they aren't of the best angles, I would buy a better camera, but i'd rather have the nice bow that I have.halfrack2.jpgPondstandsunp0006halfrack.jpg

Kinda hard to tell from the pics...but im pretty sure that isnt the same deer.

I agree with Ethan on this one...The first pic of the buck in velvet sure looks like he has a bigger body, and a better rack..The second pic looks like a young buck that has an attitude and keeps getting his butt handed to him. The second bucks rack doesn't look anything like the first bucks rack, but it is november, and it could be the same deer who grew a little on one side, and broke some on the other...

my first gut feeling is no, its not...but it could be.
