There is a lot of luck involved, especially when rattling blind...you just never know how a buck is going to respond to the horns...but when it works, you can't beat it! There is a lot of luck involved, especially when rattling blind...you just never know how a buck is going to respond to the horns...but when it works, you can't beat it! its a chance but it can be a huge reward. i do it and i love it. depending where you live now is a great time. i have also had a lot of luck in the post rut. bucks are looking for those last few remaining does to be bred and if another buck hears a fight he will sometimes come in hard to investigate. good luck out there!
