borch
Re: South Dakota Turkey Hunting Not personally but have a few freinds who have. Most hunted Redbud. The regs change from year to year. The most signifiant one is that you are required to hire a native guide in order to hunt there. Another one that gets hunted a lot is Pineridge. It can be good but it's a bit rough there. Some folks I know had bad expereiences there. The others I don't know much about. Here's the info from the SD wildlife, Fish and Parks site. Tribal Reservations State licenses are not valid on trust lands of an Indian tribe unless authorized by the tribal council. Individual tribes may require a tribal permit to hunt on their lands. Contact the individual tribes to find out what licenses they offer and the cost. Not all the land inside the South Dakota reservations is under tribal jurisdiction. If you hunt on private land deeded to non-Indians, you must have a state license.
