brad dryden
I prefer the real deal but I am missing one of the antlers I use to rattle with and dont want to cut up one of my racks to make one and was wondering if any one has had any luck or know people who have used the synthetic ones. I dont think I will buy one but in case I change my mind I just want some input. Wow I just notice the smilys on the right and if you look at this one at first I thought he was doing a "Bull line" until i read what it was. :laser:
TN Bucknasty
They work fine. I've actually made some and the deer don't know the difference.
bowhunter862
or you could just hop on ebay and buy a shed to use with the one you have.
wildguy
I have heard that some people dont like them because when you are using them they heat up and make a "scent". But i dont really believe that.
TN Bucknasty
Dang! If they're getting that hot, someone is doing some serious rattling.

But i dont really believe that. i don't believe it, either. use them or follow the ebay advice. most farmers will have pickup horns, also. they have to stop the tractor and pick horns out of their way when they plow in the spring. you can maybe get a free antler.
