tclubbs2 Posted November 13, 2009 Report Share Posted November 13, 2009 OK guys and gals it is time for the annual rifle season to start here in Missouri. I gun hunt and bow hunt but never call during bow season. This year it seems the bucks are out chasing does more than I have ever seen. I hear everyone talk about calling in deer and gave it a go but did not have any luck. I have a grunt call, a can and a rattle bag. I know I dont want to call very often and when I do I need to wait 15 to 30 minutes to see what comes up. My question is how do you call? I usually give a few grunts followed by a can call but like I said I have no luck. At this point I would be happy calling in a spike just to show me it works. Any suggestions?
