Strut10
Some of you may recall some pics I had posted a few years back of "Daisy".....the pure albino doe that lived on the Strut10 Ranch. You may also remember the post this past March about her being shot at night by some @$$*&!# and left dead near my dad's house. I permitted her from the game Commission and caped her out. It was very iffy as to whether the cape would be any good since she had been dead 3 days before we found her. All her hair was slipping from the rump forward to exactly where the cape goes around. From there up, it seemed to be good. The taxidermist really didn't think there was any use to even try. But I insisted we had to at least try. We tried. It worked!! Here she is.....back home again:

Strut10
did they ever catch the poachers? No. I can, pretty much, tell you exactly who did it. But no way to prove it unless somebody's mouth runs.
snapper
Looks good Don...I know Daisy meant alot to your dad and family! BTW, what kinda price did the PGC get for the permit? And do you know if a permit like that is the same price for all animals? Just curious, I hit an owl the other night with my truck...bounced off the windshield and then mirror. I stopped and it was surely dead...would have liked to get it mounted but wasn't sure of the process and fees I would be looking at.
Strut10
BTW, what kinda price did the PGC get for the permit? And do you know if a permit like that is the same price for all animals? Permit was $25 for this one. But different animals are different prices. I know a fawn permit is $75. Not sure what anything else is.
