BEEF
Im going to start with the they got the corn picked off my farm last night at 700 pm.I was jacked up to get on stand at daylight and sit all day. Well at 730 i get a call that i needed to be at work for awhile saturday morning so i got to go hunting at 130 that afternoon . Well at 430 i see a shooter a ways off walking the edge of a crp field ,crusing for does . Noway was he going to come were i was sitting but luck would have it he crossed a creek and headed for me but then he turned and headed away so i hit the grunt call and this buck turned and made a b line right for me i get my bow up and hes through my first shooting lane and i stop him in my next one on a dime at 20 yards ,he looks right up at me broad side and i set my pin and touch it off . I was on a ridge and he was in the bottom so i was alot higher than him . Where my arrow hit him was in the lung area but maybe high but the angle down should have been good . The arrow did not pass through but when hes running away all i see is fletching so it went all the way in . I give it 30 min and go down to find blood and i do follow good blood for 75 yards but then its getting dark and i cant find blood anymore so i back out and im going back in the morning. He would be my best buck ever with a bow , i have all these thoughts going threw my head and im about sick. Wish me luck!
Missilelock
Okey Dokey Beef- I wish you luck.... Any deer with an arrow buried to the fletch hasnt quit bleeding in 75yds. you will find more in the AM & hopefully the deer.
stcif
Good luck. My son and I have had two similar hits and found no deer. One is still running around as I have sen it twice in good health.
bghunter777
You should have a dead deer. only down side is if the angle is too steep you may have just got one lung. You did the rite thing by backing out. If that arrow is in there up to the fletching you should find that deer not to far away.
