Dakota
"Germans?" "Forget it, he's on a roll..." Roflmbo! Yeah, I've been having issues this year too, Chris. I shot a doe November 5th at 50 yards, the shot was high lungs out of a ground blind with little blood to work with. Ended up losing her. Had a real nice 140 class 5x5 come within 20 yards of my stand but just didn't have the shot I needed with a bow. He was quartering towards me and had branches blocking his vitals. The hunting just seems to be real difficult right now. Dakota
Ohiobucks
Just as an update, I painted my new bedroom last night. It looks good. Didn't your best painting buddy paint that room already? It looked that bad, huh? Sorry......
Tominator
Didn't your best painting buddy paint that room already? It looked that bad, huh? Sorry...... Oh, it looked great bud, and can't thank you enough for the help, but unfortunately the stain guy messed up a lot of our work, so I have to go back and touch up all the cut in work and repaint the walls where he sprayed off the doors. Chaps my tail in a lot of respects, but if I didn't hire him, I'd still be doing that stain work.

Tominator
I beg to differ, Eric is the very definition of "bowhunter". Yeah, sweet camo pattern on that dude. Clearly a city slicker, in the woods by accident.

Ohiobucks
Hey, I didn't come on here and tell everyone I drug that dog you shot out with one arm, now, did I? I didn't tell everyone that when you called me after you shot her, you said you shot a "big doe", did I? Did I??? Of course not, I'm your friend. You're welcome. :clown:
Ohiobucks
Remember the look on Michael's face when we told him we used his tractor to get her out of the woods though. :D

muggs
Chris = You can say that twice. I took the camo off buddy because we let the guy go for a few hours before going after him because I was a little unsure of the shot...that's what us experience bow hunters do. I bought my buddy breakfast while we were waiting...nothing like having the RT Hardwoods smelling like egg McMuffins on your next hunt. :soda:

Casey
Well, here I sit, 2+ weeks of hunting nearly every night, neglecting my family and new home with only 1 shooter buck sighting. This weekend is youth season, week after that is Thanksgiving week, week after that and the combat zone kicks off in Ohio. After that, your odds of tagging a decent buck go way down. I'm going to give it the "ol' college try" a couple nights this week in the area where I saw the shooter, we'll see what happens. I guess you can't shoot a big buck every year. You always said Ohio don't hold any big bucks. if you didn't kill the last big buck in Ohio like you did last year, you might have had better luck this year. Lol I know your get a nice buck soon. I got faith in you.
doubledrop
not much luck for me this year as well.
