GWSmith
I wanted to do something different than the typical "Look how many times I can hit the Post Reply button" threads so here... If you've got a Loved one, Friend, even someone you dont know well but they are hurt, sick, or unable to participate in hunting due to injury or any other reason add their name to the list... wtnhunt
Congratulations on hitting 9 grand Gary. Good topic, meant to reply to this before, seems I have been a bit behind on things here lately. My oldest daughter has a friend who joined as a member here back over the summer. Her friend has never been deer hunting, but her dad used to hunt I believe in Mississippi. He is in pretty bad shape, don't think it likely he will ever get to hunt again. We had planned to have Christina's friend come out and hunt with her in our back field over our plot where we typically see groups of does every afternoon, but this year things have been anything but typical and we are just not seeing the deer like we normally do. Still want to get her friend out, but don't want to have her out and sit and not see anything, hopefully things will turn around. Hoping to share some veni with her family. Dakota
My Uncle Steve, he has liver cancer and there's really nothing they can do for him. The medication that he's taking right now is basically just to keep him comfortable. I think they're giving him a year or two but it will probably be much less. Doe-ee
Amy...a friend of a friend has been flown to a hospital in Vancouver due to complications with a 20 week pregnancy with twins. Today she texted that she is now on oxygen due to pulmonary edema. Doctors suspect she has also contracted H1N1. She will have to deliver the babies today sometime. Her parents live in Ireland and can't get here until Friday. This poor young woman is really scared. Two of her closest friends have braved high winds and taken the ferry to the mainland to be at her side.
