Im TICKED OFF!

Thanks for everyone's support. Along with the stuff Tim mentioned, I noticed later that they also got my checkbook, diabetic supplies and my SD cards to my trail cams. Auto insurance doesn't cover contents as mentioned earlier, it is covered under the homeowner insurance. However, I am living with a buddy of mine and do not have renter's insurance so I am not covered... tough lesson learned. Looks like I'm out roughly $2500 in gear. It's a bad deal but they are only materialistic things (other than the pics of my son and I and hunting pics from the past 2 years that were on the camera) so it could be a lot worse. Last night Tim helped put it in perspective the same way his mom did last week when he was frustrated with this year's hunts. My son is healthy and I'm healthy and that's what really matters. Another one of those speed bumps in life... thanks again for everyones thoughts. Taking care of the people who did it wouldn't solve anything... but it shure would make me feel a little better!

Glad you have the right outlook on the events.

I tell you what though...

Those people who came up with the saying:

"What does'nt kill you makes you stronger"

...I'd like to kick them right in the ____!

I'd like to go on a rant about my truck still being in the shop and the calamity involved but after reading what you reminded me of(having the proper perspective)it would'nt do any good.

I've done everything I can as I'm sure you've done...all we can do is stand.

That happened to my cousin David before. Only he was at work! He was at a job site and the truck was parked just out of view of a camera enough that they never caught the couple people that did it. They took everything though camo and all. I think he was planning on hunting after. My cousin was p&^%$@ off to say the least. So yea I'm sorry to hear that happened to him.

Clint I'm sure sorry about what happened. Makes me take a step back and look at what I have laying around...... I think we all should...... remember it's about Christmas time again..... unfortunately that's how SOME people do their shopping, cause they're too lazy to work for it like the rest of us. Clint, you're the last person that deserves that to happen to them. I hope they catch them and find your gear......... KS

I got my van broken into some years back. They stole everything. All my fishing stuff, tools, cassettes, baseball equipment. Emptied it. Got it all back after the dim wits tried to sell my fishing vest with the license still attached to a friend of mine....It was a relief, but it sucked to have been ripped off in the first place. Maybe one of these people will slip up in the same way.. You can always hope.
