texastrophies
I can't believe all the arm chair quarterbacks we have in here aren't talking about this decision. I spent a lot of time the last couple of days listening to espn radio & a couple of other sports talk shows and that was just about all they talked about. Come on let's hear your thoughts on it. hoosierhunter
Belechik was scared of Peyton is what made that call....Bar none there isn't another team in the league that he does that against......
SuperMn106
Belechik was scared of Peyton is what made that call....Bar none there isn't another team in the league that he does that against...... I think he did it against the Falcons earlier this year and they made it. I seen it coming. He is an aggresive coach. I did not agree with it but loved it when the Colts stopped them. I think it was dumb. Why give the best QB in the game a short field to work with? Make him earn it.

My guess is if the punt team came on, the colts would have lost.
doubledrop
I like the call, however considering the team they made it against, maybe not so smart. If they would have made it everybody would have been talking how brilliant of a call it was.
muggs
I think you have to trust your defense to get a stop. That D has lost a lot though the last few years, I think that's what made him make that call....not the best idea.
doubledrop
For once I agree with muggs. you do have to trust your defense.
swampwright
I see it as him being an aggresive coach if he made it people would say he's crazy but got big brass ..... but at the same time this isnt back yard football where if you win you win you lose you lose stakes are alot higher at this level. Over all dumb call in thought.
buckbuster11
Just a stupid decision. You could even see the ticked off look on Brady's face when he got sent out there for the play. That was Belichicks ego showing and clouding his judgement...and it actually cost him a win. Most coaches would be on the hot seat if not in the can after a decision like that.
