Doe-ee
After just 1 week in hospital they gave Ken his "walking" papers this afternoon. Steve picked him up, along with a truck load of gadgets to help him maneuver around his place. Ken's church friends were still busy making it easier for him to get to his chair and bed and one is even installing a cabinet for him to store all his essentials. Steve made his bathroom a little more friendly to use too and he will have Home Care to take care of his injury during the weeks ahead. Ken is really happy to be home and his faithful companion Rocky is simply thrilled. There is nothing like the comforts of home to speed healing but a prayer or two his way will still be greatly appreciated.

Leo
Well I am sure he is looking forward to some real sleep! Doesn't seem like hospital sleep counts. I hope he gets some good rest and heals well.

I hope he gets some good rest and heals well. Yeah, he wasn't sleeping too well in the hospital Leo, because of all the beepers going off all night long. I think he's a pretty light sleeper, because I used to keep him awake all night in deer camp with my snoring too.

KenW
Thank you for all your prayers Guys & Gals it' sure is nice to be home, no more beeps and alarms going off continual. I've had two good nights with lots of sleep It will take some time to heal (six weeks of toe touch weight only with my left leg) and then rehab .It's A humbling experience not being able able to do a lot for yourself and having to rely on friends
