ROADKILL04
Well I have a small farm next to the city lmits but it is still in the county and I was wondering what grain bullet I should use I am just goin to shoot a 3030 because it is so thick and there are alot of houses around and my longest shot is prolly only 150 yrds. Should I use 150 or
GWSmith
Either grain bullet will kill a deer many are killed with much lighter grain bullets in other calibers. With a 100yd zero: ..........................50, 100, 150yds Remington 150 SP .2, zero, -2.4 Remington 170 SP .3, zero, -2.7 As you can see theres not much of a difference in trajectory between the 2 weights at that distance. That 30-30 is more than enough gun to do the job for that distance as long as your practiced with it and dont shoot towards the houses all should be good. wyohunter
i'd say whichever one shoots the best, but you have to buy both to find out
