Its good to see my central NY buddy again! Great buck, he is huge! We had a good weekend in Hamilton. My buddy got a huge 8 point. We have seen several bucks and there is a ton of good sign. My best friend got an 8 pointer on opening morning that had an 18 inch spread and will go about 120 inches. He took it over to Swamp Taxidermy in N. Brookfield. Slightly discouraging...all those monster bucks and deer in general and now they are hiding somewhere...Andy and I tried a couple small, light pushes on some small blocks...nothing...tracks...but no deer...Took the AM off but will be back out this afternoon...try to beat the neighbors,lol Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

NYmathewsman Posted November 25, 2009 Report Share Posted November 25, 2009 I ended up getting a doe on Friday evening at about 4:50 pm (talk about coming down to the wire, with my bow of course). Opening morning I saw 7 total, all small ones. After opening morning I didnt see to much. Also, not a lot of shots fired around my hunting area. Good luck to all over this extended weekend!
