I can put up with alot of things in life, but a thief is something i just can't stomach! I went out to the timber last night to find my drip bag stolen!! I noticed some vehicle tracks in the field on the way in. I then get a call from my buddy that went out this morning and one of our hang on stands is gone!!! To me there is nothing much worse than I low rent trepassing thief! They better hope we don't find out who has been in there, this is private property and no one has permission to be in there. :nono:They will be prosecuted to the full extent, they will be lucky if thats all that happens! Good ole fashion trip to the woodshed would be more to my liking:stretcher:

Okay rant over, have a great day.

You know, I'd be afraid of what I might do if I actually caught someone red-handed taking my stand. We've had 7 stolen over the years, and I am more than just ticked.

Same here, Steve! I do know that the perp will more than likely be face down and in serious need of a doctor. Had my share of the scum stealing my stuff, also. Sorry about your stuff, Mike

To me its more then just a stand being stolen or whatever may be stolen for that matter. It's the time, effort, leg work and everything else that goes into doing what we do. Then some jerk comes by takes it and prolly wont even use it. I have had stands that were chained and locked on stolen. I have had trail cameras bashed, not taken just bashed in and broken, i mean come on whats the point of that. Kinda funny when they dont take the sim card out tho and you have pics of them doing it. People today just dont understand HANDS OFF!

If you are REALLY serious about this, you could do like a person in GON (Georgia Outdoors News) did when their stands, quads, etc. went missing.

He bought (it was expensive but worth it) a GPS tracking device and hid it in the seat of a stand. It was sensitive enough for him to see when someone was using the stand by the shaking.

One day the thieves came back for it and led the cops and this guy right to their home. Badda bing, arrested.
