DocMort Posted November 22, 2009 Report Share Posted November 22, 2009 Well, dad calls me tonight says he went to hunt or river bottom ground today in NY and the other guys that have permission to hunt it are there pushing it out, have seen deer but none shot so its good for us. As he is talking to one of our friends, a giant 8 goes out running across the field, and 2 guys driving down the road shoot at him out the window of there truck and take off down the road. He is hit so dad tracks him across some of the property and he goes on property where the owner won't let us go in to get him. Needless to say it really P-s-es me off. BowJoe Posted November 23, 2009 Report Share Posted November 23, 2009 If you want a chance at that deer meat at least, call the game warden and tell him what happened. Regardless of what the landowner says, he can retrieve the animal or put it out of it's misery for evidence. You may just get the meat donated to you. It's worth a shot!!! Call them asap.
