Rhino
Re: Question for my huntin\' girlfriends Some of you women need to train your guys a lot better than you have. HuntingInMaine, you have a great opportunity to train your's early too. Ya'll need to call a family meeting and sit those guys down and talk to them about contributing to the household business. I'll bet at least some of you work full time jobs too. Why shouldn't they help out. Heck make those lazy guys share some of those chores. Assign some duties to them. It's a give and take relationship so tell them to give a little help around the house. Now lets talk a little about this toilet seat problem. It's easy to solve. My best friend's wife overheard a similar conversation where a group of women were complaining about guys not putting the toilet seat down. This must be a nation wide topic between ladies. She jumped right in there and told them they had it all wrong. She grew up with 4 brothers and she said I definately want it left up. I know it's always up before I use it. If you want it down you're just asking for a nasty surprise. There's not one single guy that's going to lower a toilet seat before he empties his bladder so if you want it dry, leave it up. If you like to take risk, leave it down. Good luck training your guys ladies. Can you believe this 51 year old guy is suggesting you try to train those guys right? Believe me, it can be done. Guest Andrea
Re: Question for my huntin\' girlfriends Did I start something or what? Well, toilet seats up or down, you boys are still messy everywhere else! My husband's workshop is a dump. And what kills me is that he is not the least bit embarrassed to have his friends out there. I would be mortified. I have one piece of advice for all the single girls out there though. When you are visiting your boyfriend's home for the first time, insist on taking a peek into his room. If you can't see the floor for all the clothes and garbage, RUN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Or if his mother just seems worn out and never sits down because she is too busy constantly cleaning up after the "men".......RUN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It's only a preview of YOUR life if you get married. I'm kidding, sort of. I guess it could go both ways. There ARE guys out there that are completely anal about cleanliness. ( My sister married one) (I'd rather be with the slob)
