Well it hasnt been a very good november for me. I live and hunt here in centrel ohio and in october i seen 3 diff shooter bucks and the deer were movin everywhere. The whole month of november i have seen little deer movement and just a handful of small bucks but no shooters. Im used to seein nice shooter bucks out in fields every year chasing does but not this year. I dont know if the late season harvest of crops had an effect on the rut and deer movement. This past weekend was the youth gun season here and there was few hunters out and i just a few deer the whole weekend. Im goin to try to wait it out and see but gun season opens a week from today so hopefully the deer will be moven. Anybody else haven this problem? Good luck to yall and happy thanksgiving!!

Same problem I'm having in Michigan. I had a few days during bow season when we had good activity and then after opening day of gun season everything stopped. The majority of the corn is still up around us, usually by this time of the year it's all down. I think all the pressure has pushed them into the corn. Our shotgun season ends in a week and muzzleloader starts up Dec 4th, I think it will pick up a lot by then assuming the corn is down.

Yep. Seems I say this every year, but it was a weird year. November 7th was the best for movement I think, but didn't see any shooter bucks until I stumbled into a big boy's bedroom on November 13th.

I think all the corn up and warm temps had a lot to do with it. I have yet to see a really good buck in the field like I usually do. Full moon around Halloween didn't help either. I did see a decent buck dogging a doe in a field Thursday night. I figured they were turning back on and hoped youth season was going to be good, but we only saw 1 deer Saturday morning and my son shot it.
