woodshed
I've been using 1500 gram Alpha Burleys. The rubber cracked and has punctures so now leak. Temps in the 20's and below my feet get cold. I want a 2000 gram boot that will hold up. I'm looking at Muck Woody Max, Irish Setter Snow claw but Guide Gear has a 2000 gram boot for 80.00 at Sportsmanguide.com Any ideas to help out. I'm a little worried about the muck boots puncturing or cracking with age like the Burley's did. thanks
wtnhunt
May consider a pair of arctic shield boot blankets. I use them here when the temps dip down in the single digits and below and they keep my feet nice and warm with 400 or 500 gram thinsulate boots. Only downside to the boot blankets is carrying them in. For boot lines, would check the cabelas lines, affordable quality in my opinion. Between my wife and daughter and myself we have 4 or 5 pairs of cabelas boots here and no complaints.
