Harris0420
Hey guys you have to check this deer out. NC is not known for their monster whitetails, but this hunter took one heck of a whitetail on the evening of November 20th. D.R. Harrison let the arrow fly at 4:30 p.m. on what some are saying could be the next NC bow state record. It definitely is the Davidson County record, and at worst it will be 3rd of all time. Nonetheless, it is an unbelievable buck. He has 24" main beams and has a 26"spread. To view more details and pictures, go to www.houtdoors.com. You have to check this deer out and appreciate the area it came from. Great job D.R. what a buck. Be looking for it as well in 2010! The Antler Addiction Team captured it all on film. Awesome!!! pointing_dogs_rule
Welcome to the forums!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! That's a beautiful deer by any standards!!! Congrats!!! I don't see where it will score 178 though. It is a main frame 8 point. It takes a really wide and heavy 8 point to get above 150 inches let alone 178 inches. I would be interested in seeing the scoring at the end. If you hear more about the offical score let us know. Good luck to all the dog
