ruttinbuc
I have a pair of 20X60 Pentax bino's. That would be equal to the middle of the zoom of the Barska's. The trouble with big optics is keeping them steady. Hard to keep focus on a certain position. I use a tripod with mine when I do use them for long range scouting. They are really not practical for everyday hunting. 8x32, 10x42 would be a better choice for that.
wtnhunt
Gotta agree with Mike here, a pair of 8x42 or 10x42's would be better for hunting purposes. We had a pair of barska's, they were not bad for what they cost for looking out the back window during daylight, but we never used them in the field.
