Tree cameras

I was wanting to get a trail camera for my deerstands but I didn't know which were the best. Is digital or the regualr camera better, and what brand gives the clearest picture?

Re: Tree cameras

This should be in the photo room. I really like my leaf river digital. Also have a stealth cam film camera and it has held up pretty well, but sure do love the convenience of the digital.

I would never buy another film scouting cam. Between the initial cost of the cam we have spent more on film and processing with the stealth cam in about 16 months than what it cost me to just have gone digital on my first cam.

Re: Tree cameras

I just got my Leaf River today! I'm putting up in the morning. Actually I signed up to be a dealer so I got a few extra to sell. If you're interested in one let me know.

I've got 2 35mm Deercams that work great but the cost of film & developing is too high. I could have 4 or 5 digital cams for what I spent last year alone on film & developing.

Like my Leaf digtal too......worth the $ all the way......IMHO....Leaf has no competition......prices are coming down on all digitals......I plan on getting another......heard Leaf is coming out with a faster trigger.....mine is fine.....I like posing deer anyway with food....scrapes.....licks.
