What's your favorite call?

What's everybodies favorite turkey call? My favorite is my Primos Power Crystal slate call. It's hard to choose though because my H.S. Strut lil deuce II is a pretty sweet sounding call also. When I first started turkey hunting my Lohman box call was my favorite but that was when I didn't know how to use any other calls.

Re: What\'s your favorite call?

I have a new favorite this year. It's a custom made slate call by a local call maker. His company name is now Grand Slam Turkey Calls. Sure is a sweet sounding slate call. grin.gif

My old favorite was a Quaker Boy Walnut Masters Series slate call. I don't think they've made that call for about 5 years now but I have 3 of them.

Where I do most of my hunting down here, friction calls usually work better than any other calls I've used but I always keep a Pittman Black Diamond Diaphram call ready too. wink.gif

I would have to say my Primos Freak in crystal. The one handed operation is wonderful, and the crystal can make some sweet yelps and purrs.

Any call that gets a turkey FIRED UP!

So far my favorite would be the Primos Slate call with Frictionite. I just bought the Power Crystal, but I also like primos mouth calls.

Box call would be the Hally Caller. I own the water proof one, NOW, that is a sweet sounding call! Cant wait for our youth spring hunt again, I want to work more with this call!
