The_Kat
I think thats fast becoming OSU's ( OK STATE ) legacy. They have one of the best teams they've had since I was born and the throw the season away today against a inferior OU Sooner team thats raked with injury and just got blown away by a team that OSU blew out of the stadium. This was OSU's chance at a BCS bowl, not only a BCS bowl but a major bowl and they throw it away. It makes me absolutely sick!!!! The new def. coordinator made some improvements this season, but not nearly enough. What goods an offense that scores 40 points a game when your defense doesn't show up EVER???? 27-0 Congrats on a wasted season poke..........:no::surrender::hammer2::rolleyes::bang:
Dawg
Yea, that sucks. I'm glad I don't have to go through all the aggravation this year. The Horns are 12-0. :clown:
hoosierhunter
Kat- It's unfortunate because OSU has been owned by OU for so long it's almost like the kids go into the game feeling they can't win. From being in sports for so long I know the feeling when a team owns you for multiple years. It only takes one win to get that monkey off your back, but it's one heck of a big monkey that's for sure....Don't feel bad though OU has some serious NFL talent on that team this year. I do feel your pain though.....
MCH
OSU's defense held the Sooners the majority of the game Kyle. Special teams resulted in at least 2 touchdowns for OU. Its OSU's offense that let them down in this game. I'm not sure that Robinson should have played the 2nd half. Weeden couldn't have done any worse. The real winner of this game was OU's defense, special teams and fans. It would've been a different game in Stillwater.
The_Kat
Ya I know Kevin, but in general the whole team was stale....the offense totally choked as well. I was talking about the season overall, not just this game.
muggs
I don't know, it always seems like OSU does this all the time. I don't really follow the Big 12 all that much, so maybe that's not actually the case but everytime I see the other OSU in the top ten I always kind of think "yeah, right." Not trying to pile on here Okies...just sayin'.

Now I'm not saying we'll contend for a championship every year, but we'll be a top 25 team on a consistent basis.
Gator
I think they just choke under pressure, look at the way they have played Texas last couple of years......

The_Kat
Chokin when it counts tends to be the Oklahoma tradition.....
dogdoc
Yep--that was a very frustrating game. I really think the defense played a great game. They finally just got worn out and received absolutely no help from the offense. Norman is a tough place to play. You must remember they have only lost 2 games during Stoops' tenure. It's unfortunate though b/c we did have a chance to play in a major bowl this year and next year is going to be a rebuilding year with all our senior heavy team. The_Kat
Who are we losing off importance? I think Weeden can step in nicely for Zac....Hunter will be gone, Bryant, but he was gone already. Any other heavy hitters I'm missing?
