Broadheads?

ive shot different broadheads every year. and one of my favorties is the crimson talon. they dont leave much tracking to do after you hit a with one of these. theyre a 6 blade broadhead. 3of the blades are bleeder blades. theyre pretty sturdy too, just dont try to pull them out backwards they tend to break off. but they put a gapeing hole. somewhat like the rage2's.

I'm with you MB LOVE THE CRIMPSON TALON...they have a new HYPER SPEED out this year also for the 300+ bows. exit wound like a slug....flite of a tack driver....

i am just starting to bow unt turkeys in kentucky. im i was wondering what would be the some of the top broadheads to use. my local archery shop liked the spit fire 3 blad mechanical. he was a grand slam winner in the ntwf. so i like his advice. but i keep hearing about the grim reaper extra's. i use a pse bow and its 65lbs. so what do you guys think??

I want to switch because we are gonna be goin bear hunting and I want a little bit bigger of a broadhead.

Those montecs will do the job on bear for sure... just put them where it counts. But if you are set on another broadhead try G5 Strikers. they are scary sharp out of the box and fly great.

Broadheads

Just picked up a Hoyt Trykon, moved up to North Pole, AK and will be doing lots of Moose, Bear, Caribou hunting. I have been doing lots of reading on different broadheads, seems that for big game hunting people choose the 2 blade heads vs. 3-4 blade heads for a deeper penetration and bone cutting power and durability, so I have been looking at the Crimson Crocs, Crimsom Tuskers, Magnus Stinger Buzz Cuts, and the Steel Force Phat Heads, thunder heads, anyone know of anything better or one of these that have worked for them?

I have not hunted the animals you mention.

But I have hunted a few different African Plains Game Species here in South Africa.

For any plains game species hunting I have confidence to put a 125gr Slick Trick Std on my arrow.

It penetrate like crazy, make a huge wound cavity and is strong enough to shatter heavy bone like a Zebra Stallion's shoulder bone...

I have photos to back up what I said.

PM me and I will send you a couple of photos...
