Jorden
...just a friendly reminder to get your spring turkey applications filled out before Dec 10th:D;). I had to put my first choice as the last time period cause school doesnt get out til late this year but thats ok it seemed like the last few years the action didnt pick up until later anyway. camoman1
Just picked mine up the other day! Going to put in for my usual 3rd period. Hopefully the birds show up on the property sooner then they did last year. Took until almost 4th period before the birds showed up again...they spend most of the winter across the river from me. bluelund79
Thank you for the reminder. Hopefully that "preference point" will actually mean something this year! Got a new place to myself that has a small flock on it....Hopefully I can get one of them with my bow this fall too. Just stinks having to wear blaze orange most of the rest of the season... WIwhitetailhunter
I haven't sent in an application for the past 5 years. No problem buying over the counter. I can never find out what periods the other guys that hunt the property are sending in for. It actually works out better for me. I just wait until they get their notice, and buy a tag for a period no one else is there...the property is mine!!

slughunter
ZONE 2, PERIOD A!!!!!:2guns:GOBBLE,GOBBLE-THUMP. Gonna use a bow this year! (Gun on last 2 days if I blank with a bow) Did you check on line? Mine is not on there??!!?! Yeah, Where did you see that you were drawn? I checked online through the License center and it said I wasnt awarded a permit. Is it just that I am checking too early or that I didnt actually draw? -shane

camoman1
I saw a post on another site (lake-link) that said it takes a week or two for them to update the DNR website after they do the drawing.
Jorden
The lady I talked with at the dnr said that they would hopefully have the results online by the end of this week. She also told me my results: I got zone 5, 5th period. So only 105 days left:bummed: :bang:
twowetdogz
I saw a post on another site (lake-link) that said it takes a week or two for them to update the DNR website after they do the drawing. I've seen on a couple other sites as well that they are drawn....they just aren't posted yet. And, I've also seen that there are A LOT of extra permits this year.....so I wouldn't worry too much yet. And, I've also seen that there are A LOT of extra permits this year.....so I wouldn't worry too much yet. I've read upwards of 76,000 permits are left. So i figure we won't have a hard time getting some.
