I personally really like the Realtree APHD...however, they have come out with a new one called Virtigo or something, and it is really interesting...i've thought about getting into that a little because its diverse, you can use it regular hunting situations as well as snow...JMO...as for now, i'm sticking with my APHD.

I just noticed you live in LA...i am going out on a limb here and am guessing you probably don't do a whole lot of hunting in the snow down there...

No Smackdown we don't get a lot of snow here, had a good snow last year( 1 day), and a chance of a flurry this weekend, but in my 40 years of breathing I can count on one hand when it snowed and stuck to the ground.

I've tended to stick with ScentBlocker opposed to Scentlok just because I've used it and it seems to work just fine. I will agree with others that there are more options out there with Scentlok, but you can figure that out just by searching online. I have the Roadtrips Fleece jacket and pants that the FreakNasty set evolved from. I really like the camo and it's the quietest stuff I own. I've looked at the FreakNasty stuff and any faults with the Roadtrips fleece were taken care of. Go check the stuff out for yourself. My fleece hat I can't seem to find in stores anywhere, but it's Scentblocker and it fits better than anything put on my head.

...just looed. I think the hat I have might be the Pro Fleece Watch Cap on Scentblockers website.

A while back I noticed the freak nasty and thought it looked pretty nice. I'm going to outfit myself with some new bowhunting clothes too. I've read some pretty poor reviews on the freak nasty. I checked it out, and I think I can find a better set up, especially for the money!

My brother really likes the scent lok hyrbid, timberfleece 360 and full season. I really like the Cabelas bowhunter Xtreme stuff, it's got great features made specifically for bowhunters. I like the Cabelas outfitter berber and wooltimate stuff too, but you may not need anything that warm. That's the direction I think I'm gonna go. There are a lot of choices out there thats for sure! It all comes down to what kind of hunting you do and what your personal preferences are. Just go in and try em on and check em out! Good luck to ya!
