Jeramie
We went out last saturday. I had been out to look at our ponds (13 total) the day before but didnt see any ducks. I figured it would be a bad morning but we could at least get out. Good thing I was wrong. At daylight we had a decent group of green heads flying in. We got some shots off. Within and hour we had approximately 100 more ducks fly in or over. It was a little slow for this time of year. We are hitting a serious cold front now and I think it will bring in the green heads. When that does happen they will be THICK. Hopefully this does the trick. We only saw probably 50 - 60 mallards total for the day. We saw more puddle ducks and gadwalls than anything. Here was the total: (8 - birds) Green heads - 1 Hooded Merganser - 1 Gadwall -
