Bowtech_archer07
Well it's gonna be cold and windy here in central IL for most of second season. I can't get out till Friday morning due to school, but I just wanted to wish everyone who is going to brave the coldest temps of deer season so far GOOD LUCK!!! I'll be back out trying to redeem myself for my poor shooting performances during 1st season. Good luck to all and stay safe out there!! MUDRUNNER
Good luck! I still have a doe tag to fill. I'll probably let one of the other guys that didn't get a deer yet hunt my stands this weekend, so I probably won't hunt too much. I do intened on playing some poker with the boys regardless. Everybody be safe!
dartonman
Im going on short walks covered in orange, walking slowly out of the wind and see if I can get one.....the other guys hunting the land wont be there thursday and friday, so the 60 acres are all mine....I sure hope I can put one down.........I have two tags......al
rad_112176
Good luck too you also. Have doe and buck tags left for second season and muzzleloader. Will be taking out the new Traditions all weekend so hopefully i can stack up some meat for the freezer. Hopefully the cold temps will have them hitting the food a bit earlier in the evenings. Maybe even try to kick in that second rut. Will probably hold out till saturday evening before i start taking does though. Never know when the big boy can step out. Good luck all. bigbuckkilla89
I forgot to shoot my darn gun yesterday, and sure enough between first season and today the scope was knocked off so i missed 2 different does this morning. but i did see a nice young 8 point lookin to get some last minute action with a doe. the bucks are still crusin but i filled my buck tag on openin day of 1st season.. anywyas I came back to town and went and got the ole 12 gauge dialed back in headin back out round 1:00 p.m. if a doe walks in range this evening im gonna put her down. But im kinda hopin to see alot of deer but I really dont want to come in close enough to shoot til sunday cuz then ill b sittin at the house while everyone else is huntin and that always blows..
