slaw
Well after reading this thread on here about the H&R ultra slughunter , I figured , how could so many people be wrong. They were right , my 20 ga in that model is 5 for 5....with my last being a nice 9 pointer thats at the taxidermist now. I know wherever the cross hairs are is where i'm going to hit. I love this gun.
dartonman
I have the 12 guage, and love it to death........kudos to you...al
maytom
Ditto!! I'd go with the 20 gauge myself. My Cousin's son has the 12 gauge, and with that Ultra 10 gauge barrel bored to a 12, it's extremely muzzle heavy!!!
Jeramie
Ive heard they are deadly accurate (as far as sluggers go). Ive never shot one. They make a great product all around so it doesnt supprise me they are good guns.

My Cousin's son has the 12 gauge, and with that Ultra 10 gauge barrel bored to a 12, it's extremely muzzle heavy!!! Agreed...But, a more stable shooting platform you would be hard pressed to find. Plus, I added a Mercury Recoil Reducer to the stock bolt hole so mine is pretty well balanced.
