JimT
A man and his two sons are standing on a river bank. They need to cross the river. They have a canoe, but it only holds 100 pounds. The father weighs 100 pounds, and the sons weigh 50 pounds each. If they all get in the canoe it will sink. The river is filled with parahnas, and there is nothing to help them get across the river on the other side. All they have to work with is the canoe and two paddles. How do they all get across safely? Please PM me your answer. First five to get it right get into a drawing for a free MB XII dvd. There will be one winner. Good luck!!! LifeNRA
Re: Trivia Ok I need to ask! What was the answer? LOL!!!
JimT
Re: Trivia Answer: Both sons paddle across in the canoe (to Side 2), one stays on this side while the other goes back across to the Father (on Side 1). The son gets out of the canoe (on Side 1) and lets the Father go across to the other son (On Side 2). The father gets out of the canoe and the son (on side 2) goes back (to side 1) and gets the other son. And they both paddle back to the Father on Side 2. I heard this on the radio, and the djs could not figure it out. Pretty funny.

lil hunter
Re: Trivia [ QUOTE ] got any more??? [/ QUOTE ] if you are asking if he has anymore things to give away, jim usually has a givaway every few weeks. If you are lookin for things to figure out, i'll give you one here. You have 3 buckets. two of them are 3 gallon, one is a 5 gallon. They have no markings on them. You need 4 gallons of water, how can you do that? Nick
Re: Trivia [ QUOTE ] You have 3 buckets. two of them are 3 gallon, one is a 5 gallon. They have no markings on them. You need 4 gallons of water, how can you do that? [/ QUOTE ] Fill up the 5 gallon bucket, fill one 3 gallon bucket, then take the rest of the 5 gallon bucket which would be 2 gallons into the other 3 gallon bucket. Then you dump the full 3 gallon bucket and fill the 5 gallon bucket again, then fill the empty 3 gallon bucket, then dump it....then put the rest of the 5 gallon bucket, which would be 2 gallons into the 2nd 3 gallon bucket. Then you have both 3 gallon buckets with 2 gallons a piece which makes 4 gallons. Yes, that is right, and YES i will accept the prize you are giving out little man! lil hunter
Re: Trivia nick, that answer works, but there is an easier way... Fill both 3 gallon buckets. Pour them both in the 5 gallon. You will still have 1 gallon left in a 3 gal. bucket. Empty the 5 gallon, and pour you 3 gallon in it. Then fill your 3 gallon back up, and pour it into the 5 gallon, then you have 4 gallons.
