Turkeygirl
Anyone have any goals yet for 2010? What are they? Me, I'd like to break this year's record of 13 sheds....Although 13 was my all time record...what an awesome year...I'd like to see if I can break it. I'll settle for finding any sheds though! Even one shed is an achievement! I'd also like to hit a couple spots that I have not been able to look in for the last couple years, just because I never made it over to look! toddyboman
I have a couple bucks that made it through gun season I am hoping to find their sheds.......Assuming I don't meet them before all our seasons end :D:D There is also a couple Conservation Areas I want to look at this year! So my goals are to get out and walk as much as possible, look on a few new areas and find a couple of sheds off a particular buck or two. MNcrittergittr
I really wanna hit a new secluded spot I have picked out for hunting next year! It's accessable only by boat, or once we have good ice, snowmobile. I know that there are A LOT of deer back there and some real monsters, that have had very little to no pressure their entire lives. They've had the opportunity to grow, so I can only imagine what's back there! I'm pumped! It'll be nice to get out, do some shed hunting and explore the area some more! Stone Cold
My knee surgery is scheduled for the third time now for December 15th so I want to be able to walk for hours come shed season! I found 27 last year and hope to top that but we will see what the knee will do!
sureshot
hope to have another great year with some monster mass sheds, all that really matters is I get out and find a few, some people razz me for spending fuel to go to spots to check for sheds, but I look at them and say what do you do for exersize, spend 500 bucks a year in the gym, what do you have to show for it lol!!I just love the relaxing time and exersize in the outdoors away from work and people, the sheds are a bonus!!!!! Prairiepredator
hope to have another great year with some monster mass sheds, all that really matters is I get out and find a few, some people razz me for spending fuel to go to spots to check for sheds, but I look at them and say what do you do for exersize, spend 500 bucks a year in the gym, what do you have to show for it lol!!I just love the relaxing time and exersize in the outdoors away from work and people, the sheds are a bonus!!!!! Couldn't agree more! I have never actually went out looking for sheds before. I have found some sheds while out hunting and I get pretty excited when I find one, so I thought, why not go out and look for them on purpose? For this spring, I have a pretty good idea of some places where I may be able to find some sheds. Not only will I enjoy the walking and scenery, I may find some good places to hunt! Stone Cold
I like what everyone has said and would agree with a lot of it. I also think you should always take your camera with you. Take a picture of the shed as it lays on the ground or in tree. You might even get some pictures of some neat reactions or catch an animal at the right time. Always have your camera! woolybear
Without putting a # goal on the upcoming season, I'd like to find a match to any shed from consecutive years in a row. Would be nice to have a little history with a particular buck, so an match to any of last years finds.

TN Bucknasty
I'd just like to find a shed. It's very tough to do here in Tennessee. We've got endless habitat, scattered concentrations of deer, squirrels and mice that love to devour the horns, dense thickets and leaves, etc.

Have never found a single shed here. We look every spring and never find any, would be nice to find one.
Tominator
I'll settle for finding any sheds though! Even one shed is an achievement! Right there. Realistically, for my area, I'm happy if I find one or two. Someday I'd like to find a matched set.
