Texan_Til_I_Die
Friend of mine killed this buck in early November in North Texas. Green score NT is 203. I haven't asked him for permission to post his pics (although I'm sure he doesn't mind) so I blurred out his identity. He hunts by rattling almost exclusively. muggs
Why is it that rattling works so well in Texas? For whatever reason, every hunt I see from Texas it's all rattling. Anyway...holy schmokes...great deer.
Texan_Til_I_Die
I guess it's the good buck to doe ratio that makes the rattling work. Of course it seems to work better in some parts of the state than in others. My understanding is that rattling isn't as good in the tall timber of East Texas. Oh, and by the way, was it killed free ranging or high fence? I know how a few of those TX boys try to sneak one in on you.:angel2:
