coles Posted December 4, 2009 Report Share Posted December 4, 2009 Every time i go the the realtree.com homepage i get popups. I have never had this happen before. I dont know if its something knew or what. But if i exit out of the popup, it exits out of everything and im right back to my homepage. Right now there is two open and minimized. TBow Posted December 4, 2009 Report Share Posted December 4, 2009 I've been reading for a while about all the problems a lot of the members have been having with pop-ups and the like on many of the forums here. Touch wood, I haven't had any issues regarding that yet and have been on here a fair amount the last couple of months as I just retired and seem to have more time to play. I recently subscribed to McAfee Security, and I'm not sure if they're responsible for my good fortune in this regard, but so far I've been trouble free. Many "virus checker" or security programs are available free on-line, but I'm not sure how effective they are. I had to pay for my subscription and after reading about everyone else's troubles, I would say that it may well have been "money well spent".
