Just got off the phone with Tim and he had an exciting/ typical Tim's 2009 season hunt this evening. He said he had some young bucks and does come into the field early, then around last light he had a good 150 classer come in. Rodney got setup on him, Tim got into position and alls the buck had to do was make his way 20 more yards for Tim to get a shot. Once he got within a few steps of where Tim needed him, a doe spooked and took off running right towards the buck spooking him and all the other deer off the field. Then right at dark when it was too dark to film he had another shooter buck come out but they couldn't get good footage. Tim sounded dissappointed, but alot more upbeat than on his previous hunts. He has good reason too....apparently the moved the blind they've been hunting in acrossed the field and to within 100 yards of where he saw this 190-200 inch monster this morning. He said at worst his longest shot will be 115 yards or so. I sure hope that big bruiser comes in for him. It'd make a great ending to a hard battled season.

On a positive note someone where he's hunting shot a 150 incher this morning, and a kid at the camp shot a 125 inch 8 pointer that Tim said was a very good looking buck. It was the boys largest.

Theres some nasty weather coming in from California. I hope it helps Tim's hunt and doesn't deeter the deer movement.
