shot a doe with my new omega

Shot a doe tonight but i cant find her it was a 50 yd shot and when i hit her, her back legs went up in the air and i found a few little drops of blood then track her tracks in the snow. about every jump i found drops of blood about 30 yds from were i shot her i found a big puddle of blood and a little squirting to. i tracked her trail threw the thicket but i lost it cuz of the dark but no much blood after that big puddle. i think she laid down in the thickets and i walked by her maybe cuz i couldnt find ne more blodd so am going to look in the morning. am not sure were i hit her at the blood was a light red color

sounds like a good hit and good sign to me. I bet you find her in that thicket tomorrow if you didnt jump her out. If you did happen to jump her out, she shouldnt be far away! Congrats! Feels good breaking in a new gun doesnt it?

Any air bubbles in the blood? Otherwise if it was light, bright red blood, may be hit high or hit low...though with the kick she gave...sounds like maybe a decent hit

couldnt find her with 5 of us and looked for 2 hrs idk were she could have gone i went back and looked were i shot her and found some white hair so i guess i my shot was low
